Accessibility statement
Our commitment to making this website usable by everyone. Last updated: 18 July 2026.
Our commitment
ooptify is built by people who care about eyes, so accessibility isn’t an afterthought. We want everyone — including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or reduced-motion settings — to be able to research, compare and try ooptify without barriers.
What we do
- The site is designed and built against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA.
- Every page uses semantic HTML with a logical heading structure, and a skip-to-content link for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- All functionality — navigation, forms and the savings calculator — works with a keyboard alone, with visible focus states throughout.
- Forms have proper labels, and validation errors are announced to assistive technology, not just shown in colour.
- Data tables (such as the cost comparison) include captions and header markup for screen readers.
- Animations — like the partner logo strip — are disabled for visitors with a reduced-motion preference.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text.
- Text colours are chosen for sufficient contrast.
Conformance status
We aim for WCAG 2.2 AA conformance across this website and check new pages and components against it as they’re built. We have not yet commissioned an independent external audit; this self-assessment will be updated if that changes.
Known limitations
Some downloadable or third-party content — for example, the sandbox environment and external services we link to — may not meet the same standard. If you hit a barrier anywhere on this site, we’d genuinely like to know.
Feedback and contact
If any part of this site is difficult to use with assistive technology, contact us and tell us what happened and what you were using. We treat accessibility reports like bugs: they get fixed, not filed.
