Online booking overview

Online booking is part of ooptify — patients book straight into your live calendar with no third-party booking widget.

How patients book#

From your booking page, patients choose a location, appointment type, practitioner and time from your real availability, then enter their name and contact details. If they're an existing patient, ooptify matches them to their record.

Choosing what's bookable online#

Each appointment type has an online-booking setting, so you control exactly which services patients can book themselves and which stay staff-only.

Confirmations and cancellations#

After booking, patients receive a confirmation link by SMS or email. The same link lets them confirm or cancel the appointment — cancellations flow back into your calendar and reporting automatically.
